So it begins.

The day started with us getting on the first ferry from Horseshoe Bay destined for Nanaimo, BC.

Day 1 of the BC Bike Race starts right off the Ferry in to Naniamo, BC.

After leaving the BC Ferries' Departure Bay Terminal, a short paved climb will help sort out the riders and from there we'll race 33 trails of pure island singletrack.

Elevation Gain: 1200m
